lol. I hate having the top up because blind spots are bad, but I am sure I'd notice more with it up. I keep it down and throw on my leather jacket and blast the heat until 40 degrees or until traction is bad.
Clutch is just kinda chattery. When I push in the pedal the noise goes away. Release it in neutral and its a quiet chatter. With a load in any gear it goes away. Really light loads it chatters. Everything seems fine so Im not worried. I just think its normal. Finally used to the bite. Took me a few drives to modulate it right without looking like a newb from a stop.
Had some time to get the boost up a bit tonight. Started leaning on the 5th injector a little to get the maf dialed in for it. @ 20psi I am logging 4.1s 60-100. Last year I logged some 3.6-7 @ 24psi. I think at the same boost I'll be a little quicker now. Cant really compare flow because the maf is in a different spot/diameter so I'll stick with ricer times because that is easy to compare. I think yours will be quicker yet with BSD, better header and likely a much better head port lol. I do have a 3.91 diff though but I am not sure how big a deal that is vs 3.73. I am really hoping to be logging 3 flat at 28-30psi.

No I can get over 100 in 3rd. Similar IATs. They are gonna be a little higher though I think with more boost. In a 3rd gear pull from say ~3k-7.3k they rise 18-20 degrees according to my last log. I use a Werks IC.

i know what you mean about blind spots. Lol. Thanks for the info. I guess I will be a while before I get mine done. I was hoping to be putting the engine this fall, now it will probably be in early spring.

I made the mistake of going to Lake Powell with my family last week. Now I got the bug again. I have been out of boats for 12 years and the last time I was at Powell was about 10 years. It's a beautiful lake. My wife was actually saying a boat would be fun again. Problem is she knows me to well. Lol. I can't leave anything alone. And after owning a couple of v bottoms and being in others, I just can't go back there after my last boat a 23 Eliminator Daytona. I am in the search for a 25 Daytona. If my wife gives me a pass, it might slow me down on the car. WHAT AM I DOING? Dennis I need help! Lol

I know what your saying. When you have a boat you always have to make it faster and then faster still. If you have a cat it doesn't take as much power to get the speed up. Your fortunate in that it only has one engine and drive. We always had 2 set's.
We also had another saying, if you couldn't walk up to a toilet and flush a 100 dollar bill you had no business playing with fast boats.
Lake Powell looks like a lot of fun. Always had a good time at Lake of the Ozarks although one of the times we raced there we had a major motor explosion.
This was one of the surviving somewhat intact pistons is you want to call it that. We had pieces of motor all the way up to the nose. the whole inside of the block was cleared out, the supercharger kind of stayed in place because it got hooked on the hatch. We got a bad batch of valve springs, the manufacture admitted it to us and they offered to replace them at no cost....... what a deal.
