A fluid damper balancer may help.... My bet would be the lightweight flywheel/reduction of inertial mass as well.

Also refresh my old memory. Did you remove the balance shafts on yours?
I did find a boat. It is not what I really want, but I got a deal on it that I couldn't pass it up.2.0 LDK Build-image.jpeg

It's a start, you can change what you don't to what you do like. Like me, you can't leave it alone anyways

SB or BB? Which drive?

its a 509 with a 420 mega blower and Bravo drive. It doesn't have an inter cooler. so of coarse I am looking at getting one. No ending to boat stuff. I guess that's why they say that boat stands for Bring Out Another Thousand.

With the 420 thats a good combo till you twist it up for more speed, which is what it sounds like you want to do. What's it boosting now? we used the super chillers.

Did you go to The Lake Powell Challenge this year?

It has the gilmer drive on it. its only running 6lbs. super chillers is what I have used in the past. John at PFM started the super chillers. Looks like Bob Teage bought them out. No to the Lake Powell Challenge. Didn't know they had one. lol

No, a hole in your boot at speed sinks your money.

Nah its pretty random. I noticed I can get the kr to come and go with subtle changes in the tune. I am going to try a 3" MAF tube and a straightener right before the sensor to see how that works even though I spent the last few years on smaller pipes. Kinda bummed its not perfect yet. Driving weather is about gone and I thought I would have hit the track already. Did turn it up to 26psi for a few pulls. Tell ya what these R888s hook so well when warm... 2nd gear hits barely squawk and at WOT it nails you to the seat. Car keeps impressing me, but it'd be nice to feel comfortable enough not to have to data log each time I drive.

You still playing with the boat?

I've kinda gotten side tracked on mine. Trying to get my Impala titled and licensed in NC. Have the tuning to get done after that and rebuild the 23C diesel engine on my 1960 Ferguson tractor. It's all about logistics, have to get the Impala off the lift so I put the tractor on it and split it. When I'm waiting for parts and machining I can raise the lift to get it out of the way.
