So you get maybe a half gallon more in. At a savings of $.50 a gallon you save $.25. Is it worth it? Pay for one canister or purge valve and you wont be driving long enough to make up the differance. I just dont see the point. Fill on slow setting untill it clicks off and check mileage once a month and you wont be able to get more accurate than that.

Well after 4 years of doing it I haven't had a problem yet.... And I actually get 2 gallons in after it clicks off usually.

Just got back from San Diego, CA and I got there with plenty of fuel left and same thing when we got home back to Peoria, AZ. I was doing about 75-85 mph and it was hot out about 116deg from Yuma to Phoneix

Got back wed. from a trip to lower MI. On the way there I avg. 32.8 mpg. dont remember what the avg speed was but I set the cruise to 70 except where I had to slow down a little through chicago and Milwaukee. I also did about 1/2 hr at 75 in MI. Over all not bad at all

I just got back from North Adams Mass (new MP3 player).
I gassed up as I was leaving.
101 miles at mostly 55MPH.
36.3 MPG
I get about 31.5 average in it, mostly highway and long backroads.

I avoid cities like the plague.
Get it? cities = plague

My wife & I just got back this past monday, from a road trip out west to South Dakota, Wyoming & Colorado & we averaged 29.9 for the whole 3,122 mile trip. At some point early on, I wound it up a lil past 120 mph, but the top end is weak. On a auto SS, the ac. only robs 1-2 mpg.

The best mileage I ever got was like 37.1 when i was "babying " it on Michigan's 70mph hghways, while doin' about 63 mph from Grand Rapids to St. Ignace. Thats over 200 miles.
