back in the day(04) when i had my srt,that's all people where doing. straight pipe and people gained big time. i personnaly don't like it,but it works. besides a tune, a full exhaust with no cats(if applicable) is the best mod you can do for a good gain along with mounts.

I'll stick to having a cat, I gained power back, sounds better also
Now if I had bigger turbo than stock I'd see reason for it
But stock one is pretty maxed power wise already for me

i have a hahn 3" catless DP with a cut out, im noticing faster spools and more power with it closed, but once i open it, it does feel a little slower, and doesn't spool quite as fast, it sounds great until you step on it and go over 4,000RPM after that its just noise,i highly recommend this DP its a little pricy but its great, oh and i cut out the resonator and have a magnaflow muffler, its not that loud with it closed and it doesn't drone at all except around 85MPH
