Any advice on a meth kit?

As the title states looking for advice for a meth kit. I just want to run it for extra cooling purposes (not tuning it for max hp with it) and wanted to see if anyone else was running with one and also which kit.

Thanks

Isn't a Meth Kit a bike with a flashlight ducted tape to it?

Taken from Devil's Own website
"The main function of water methanol injection is preventing detonation. Detonation is caused by high temperatures and pressure developed in the combustion chamber. Water has a high latent heat content, which makes it extremely effective at preventing the onset of detonation. Water injection also reduces the production of NOx (oxides of nitrogen). Methanol, with its 116 octane and high flash point, further reduces the chances of detonation. While water is not combustible, it has a greater capacity to cool the intake air temps more than methanol alone. This is why we recommend a 50/50 mixture being misted into your boosted engine. Methanol also effectively increases the octane rating of the fuel, allowing performance gains when used in supercharged and turbocharged applications." www.alcohol-injection.com

I know a few people using the Devil's Own kit on some SS/TC's. One's just about bone stock with just an intake and tune and the other guy has a Hahn FMIC, hot/cold pipes, full exhaust, race manifold and upgraded turbo.

Anyways, couldn't hurt, but might not help much...

I guess I should have known I had this coming. Anyway does anybody have one? Just wanted to see what kind of power gains can be expected.

I have delt with these kits at work. I have not see any on gas but a lot of guys with Turbo Deisels.

As of now I have seen a lot of claims but nothing that would make me want to buy one.

I have never have seen anything go wrong but I have never seen anything improve that much either.

I take it back I saw a kit like this years ago when they were called water injection, I was on a 1979 Trans Am that had a Turbo kit bolted on. That car broke a crank which was kit related. But I noticed the bottle was almost always empty. The owner lost interest in the bottle and just never filled it.
