Hi, Are you talking about the actuator or that valve PN# 19168558. Which I have no idea what it does. First turbo car and I'm trying to get 160000 miles that are on it working like it was intended to.
Could be a lot of things. That part number is the bypass valve, you could open it up and check the condition of the diaphragm. Check for vaccum/boost leaks(charge piping, vacuum tank, vacuum lines). Those are some starters that are free checks.
2008 SS , I’d start looking at the piping and their connections, cracked intercooler that sort of thing, have a look at the valve at the turbo is that valve working? Perhaps the spring sprung
