not hard to install at all..They have to cut the exhaust though. It's $200.00 from www.dmhperformance.com with a 4-year warranty

How would this affect the warranty, I know the Magnusson Moss Warranty Act, but in reality, how would this affect the dealers idea of the warranty?

From what I understand it's up to the dealership. But I talked to a couple of techs they said it just ruins the exhaust warranty...

Hmm sounds like a 4banger for sure, but its nice to hear that turbo spooling up.

Not to get technical but on the SS it's an open downpipe. Much the same though. Also it makes the exhaust less restrictive because it bypasses the exhaust, essentially you are running an open pipe(s) with no muffler, it can get very loud, especially on a 2.8 VW. My buddy did it on his and we cruised around with it like that and we had earplugs in the whole time, it was that loud.
