Who said we can't drive in Tx? When is the national meet? Maybe plan for that. Not to hijack the thread.

I emailed GMPD: heres the responce: Hello Eric,

19212670 turbocharged engine power upgrade kit: Currently this is on
backorder from GM. The estimated time when GM will have stock available
is supposedly December 22. Unfortunately GM has yet to release any data
on the part. I apologize for not being of more assistance.

Thank you,
William

But remember fuel economy is directly related to the weight of you right foot. You use the power you burn more fuel!
So another good question now to ask is? The drivetrain going to hold up? IE: Clutches, pressure plate,throw-out bearing? CV-axles? etc....GM going to be installing alot of these now? will there be an upgrade for this as well???????????

That's why it is so nice to have Bill (More Torque More HP) on this forum. It is nice to get good reliable info right from the source!

Thanks Bill, you have no idea how important this is to many of us!

I tried GM Parts House and they didn't list the part. Called my parts guy and he had trouble finding the part number. Finally found it and told me it wouldn't be available until the end of the month. I told him what GM Parts Direct wanted for the part and he said it was below his cost. Of course, when you factor in their shipping charges it becomes easier to understand what they are doing. Also, I don't like ordering a part and then finding out that it is on backorder.
