To anyone who has it installed, how much more noticeable is it? Is it top end power, or like the current power band?

Sounds sweet, 80 lbft of torque is monsterous

Sorry to pick nits but the torque increase for the HHR is only 55ft pounds. It's limited to 315 on HHR's both auto and manual.

Don't get me wrong, it's still a nice increase.

Personally, I feel GM's engineers should have been tasked with correcting the critical braking system defects prior to working on optional upgrade kits.

The power band is similar it pulls all the way through. Now in 1st gear im at 7psi and 2nd 3rd and so on go up to 23psi. There is quite a significant difference in power with it. This thing is a beast. Id love to do the intercooler and piping but the warranty is too good. Considering the fact that we have people on there with blown turbos and head gaskets. Ill just wait for GM to put out more stuff. But yeah the Stage kit is awesome

Awesome...... I agree re the warranty. How much power can they get out of this 2.0L engine before it will get dicey?

From what I have read the engine internal components can easily handle up to 400 HP before changes are needed. The trans and clutch is another issue entirely.
