My GM Tune went in today and all I can say is that I am happy.

The drop the hammer at 60mph and you are at 80mph in 2 seconds, do the same thing at 30mph and the front wheels break loose. Talk about a wolf in sheeps clothing.

As for MPG, I notice that my instant average MPH pre-tune at 70MPH on cruise control was about 28MPG. Post tune on the same stretch of road also at 70MPH on cruise control I saw an instant 32-33 MPG

This is one of the few cars I have had that is FUN to drive.

The HHR SS is I would say as fun as driving my old Z28.

There was a link I believe over to (help here) that went into a well informational step process on what they did and how with dyno sheets and all. A very good read. I was surprised as well at the numbers they were pulling with this beast. They purposly pushed it to fail! There are also some 1000+ hp motors at the strip.Theres another write up on what to do to achieve high numbers..including tranny mods.I gotta say I was a stout believer of the V8..but now? Its just amazing what this little motor that could can do.I forget all the time that I'm in a 2.0 4 banger. The SS with the stage 1 kit, well,it rivals my old 73 cuda 340 that was mostly stock but turned 14's.This feels a lot quicker.

Overall, mine has cone down, but that is because I am having fun with my right foot
On a long trip driving normally (not as much right foot) I have not seen any difference in mileage.

I don't think one run (Dmorotta) is enough to really tell (wind conditions, etc.)

When driven normal, there should be no difference in fuel mileage. The turbo is a great thing. :)

Yes. Yes it is.

That's why you will see small turbo engines replace large displacement engines in the future. (it's already started)
