Thanks foolmoon
I will get a hold of chevymgr and ask for the tsb,s
I talked to crate engine depot they said they sell about 30 of these kits a day.
They also mentioned they sell rods pistons etc. To a lot of people who are leaning there cars out too much with too radical of a program from other companies

Well after ups told me yesterday that they had lost my gmtu That I had ordered
I got a knock at the door last night and I finally received my gmtu
I figured there would not be too much in the box.
jut 2 tmap sensors tje crate engine depot pigtails plug and play 2 o rings
and one small tmap bolt decals and instructions.
Guess we are really paying for the software reflash.
Anyhow
Within the next few days I hope to have it installed.
Just praying they don't cut Any wires on me

Bigjack. I would advise having a "huddle" with the service writer and the technician before the work is done. Talk over what work is to be done and any concerns you have( NOT cutting wires, removing the tab from the sensor, etc.)

Thanks first all of the advice.
I cannot wait to drive it and feel the difference
I have a set of bridgestone re 760's that are pretty much new
Hard to believe I will have much of a traction issue with them.
But I will take your advice.

Well it should be installed today.
hoping everything goes well.I have learned and read so much about the install from you guys on here that I think I could do the install myself pretty easily then drive it to the dealer for tje .but I am not taking Any chances.
Hopefully I will be reporting back tonight with a big smile on my face.

Yup that's them I think they look and handle great but I have to agree they are rough driving are times especially them it's cold.
With the stock hp they hook very well.
The tech is working on the gmtu as we speak or type lol

The good thing is that you have done your homework. If you talked to the service advisor about the upgrade in detail he will know that you probably know as much or more about it the tech himself so the install will probably b done more meticulously. With all the info you supplied them they shouldn't have any problems.
let us know how it goes. I'll never forget the day I got the upgrade on my auto. First words were "holy s***" followed by the perma-grin foolmoon speaks of and then followed by this >
