I was leary about HANN and thats why I purchased from TTR and not HANN directly, cuz ultimately I trust TTR, and the parts were the right price from them compared to the other mfgs.
I had everythin quoted from HAHN (intercooler, piping, downpipe/exhaust and intake and even their bs handheld tune all installed) and when it came time to do it all they wanted another $1500!!!! You see where im comin from.

This upgrade replaces the plastic turbo tubing, with a bigger mandrel bent set of pipes. they are usually powder coated. I have a black SS with the red/black/silver interior. Under the hood already has the black/silver... I'm adding the red parts

It adds a few ponies (I'd guesstimate 1-3hp, don't expect 10-20hp!) but the better effect is that it will allow the turbo to spool up faster. Yoo know what the stock pipe looks like: flattened at spots and the ends are rubber: flat spots may hold up air @ high RPM's and the rubber portions (over time, not saying this'll happen from day 1) may expand under boost, not giving you a good/correct reading. The IC pipes solve that.

There are a few other choices for pipes as mentioned. There are also more choices for an intercooler. Besides Hahn & Dejon, ZZPerformance, Modern Performance, & Crazy Steve also have intercoolers that will work on the HHR SS. Prices are very competitive too. There are a couple of others too. Those have been stated on other forums, but their quality of the intercooler is much less.
