Okay, finally drove enough miles to drain the cans again, and compare to last time. Much less fluid caught than the previous times.

3 oz. turbo-side, and 9 oz. intake-side. 107,810 miles. So again, about 1200 miles.

It's hard to compare apples to oranges. The weather has dried up, so not as much moisture in the air, not as much moisture in the incoming air stream to catch.

So long as it's catching it, awesome!

Drained the cans again just now. 5 oz. turbo-side, and 10 oz. intake-side.
108,917 so a little early, but close to 1200 miles.

Another drain day, I'm at 110,400 miles, so nearly 1300 miles. I'm trying to stay around 1200 miles between drains, for comparison purposes.

9 oz. turbo-side, and 18 oz. intake-side.

I'm not going back to day one when this started. But what do you think was the real advantage of your pluming?
I know to relocate the PCV and run it to a catch can plumbed into the intake manifold.
The turbo line is a gray area to me.
From what I see doing just the PCV mod is the biggest advantage.

True, that is the biggest advantage, as I am catching more liquid in that line. But I am also catching a significant amount in the turbo line.

The liquid in the intake line would have gone straight to the valves(coking, poor compression) and the combustion chambers(carbon deposits, pre-ignition, super-knock).

The liquid in the turbo line would probably mostly deposit in the turbo, charge piping, and - the intercooler(higher intake air temps, pre-ignition). Some may also make it to the throttle body, the valves and combustion chambers.

So I think both systems are important.

Please re-post your system diagram with out the extra catch cans please.
I know my fault is using the K&N intake pipe that has no check valve.
Wonder if 2005HHR has a choking problem? As he doesn't talk about an external PCV system.
