More Variable Timing Punch With Stage 1
Ever since having the stage kit installed, my SS has an OBVIOUS power increase at around 4500-5000 rpms. Reminds me of the original VTEC Hondas that didn't make power until they hit their band (much more punch of course...LOL) but the same obvious power increase. Certainly not there (or not noticable anyways) before the stage kit. I'm assuming it's the VVT system but have other stage owners noticed this after the upgrade too?
I mean dang, at about 75-80 in 3rd it's hang on time (my ESC message likes to flash at me too) I guess ESC actually means Excessive Speed Coming

While we have more power and the top speed claimed by GM is 155 MPH It may do 165 MPH but keep in mind aero drag really multiplies the faster you go. The first 50 MPH after 100 MPH takes much less power than the 50 MPH after 150 MPH.
