Ha ha.
From what I've heard it's a programming snafu. Apparently, most cars with ETC have algorithms that can detect if the accelerator is physically stuck, and intervene, but Toyota's programming was evidently performed by Rastafarians. Probably the same guys who programmed my buddies Scion sunroof, which had a service bulletin for a software glitch that prevented it from doing anything but laughing at you when you pushed the button. IMHO, many things are computerize simply because it's possible.

Just hold the traction control button down for 30 seconds and it's like a 30HP increase.

Ok, I'm joking. MisterMike will get the reference.

Talking Awww...

Wow. Imagine that..the mighty Toyota suffers yet another recall. Gosh, I'd like to say I'm sad about that, but I'd be lying!

Did you check to see that the floormats are held back by the hook? :-) How about cutting the gas pedal with a Sawzall?

LOL!

Gee...a car company gets so large, they become the world leader...then problems start to creep in. Sound familiar? Man, it's so refreshing to see the shoe on the other foot.
