A BOV does not affect operation of the turbo under acceleration. It only serves to release excess pressure when decelerating suddenly. Fooling with the wastegate, on the other hand will alter turbo operation at part throttle.

Thats ok...its all good ....I just could not think where a BOV spring would go in a supercharged car

But I did just purchase the spring for the HHR
