I traded my 04 STI for HHR. That scoop on STI is all fun and isht for like a week, but then it gets on your nerves, it limits the visibility and not that functional to begin with ( you'd have to travel 55mph for it to start being efficient), and if you consider that it's made of plastic - it vibrates alot at highway speed. Amongst the STI owners the most popular mod is to "reverse" or to get rid of it completely. And if you actually will put that thing on to HHR's hood I guarantee you within 1 day your car is gonna be plastered allover the Subaru forums in "ricer" treads.

I added hood scoops along with a bra on my "Type R" GTO.

this thread is against all my car beliefs.
a hoodscoop is greater than or equal to a spoiler.

Hood scoops are also a great place to place that trash in your hand as you walk across some mall parking lot........oh..did I say that out loud?
I'm more partial to cowl types..I have one on my truck and while its non funtional i can watch the leaves get sucked against the screens..

I was toying around with the idea of cutting out the surround of the fog lamps and utilizing that space with some aluminum pipes to achieve a better intake system. I was looking under the hood and it seems there could be enough room it would just require a extreme amount of fabrication to achieve a large enough diameter pipe. I won't be trying it anytime soon but could be done.
