So I'm going with a gtx3076
I have contacted Treadstone Performance about their new kits for the Cobalts and have decided to test one out on an HHR. I have opted to go with a garrett gtx series kit instead of their precision turbo kits. the gtx has amazing spool up and flows better than the gt series turbo line. They have designed a stainless cast tubular manifold that is just complete sex. it also comes with a turbosmart wastegate, downpipe with recirculated wastegate dump, all lines and gaskets, and downpipe wrap. all in all its a great kit and not a single person has tried the garret line of turbos on this kit yet, all have done the pte's. I will likely be running my dejon upper pipe with zzp bov and zzp lower pipe but i may switch those to treadstone as well....we'll see. the rest of my mods are in my sig. I will be adding a devils own meth kit with 5 gallon tank and braided lines, spraying a hefty shot of meth....at least a 7gph nozzle....as well. i may pick up the zzp cams with fuel lobe or the 5th injector kit if we run into fueling issues, but otherwise i will be running the stock internals for now since my engine only has about 15k on it.
Kit can be found here:

here is a compressor map:

.......that compresor map simply amazes me
I will do a detailed write up for the installation with pictures and provide a dyno sheet when the tune is complete
it is going to be a great summer

i wonder what it is about them that doen't fit correctly?? oh well guess guess i will use what i got then
Lower pipe was so far off I'd had cut and rotate at least 3x to even get idea if fit( mine is auto so is even worse than a manuall HHR to cobalt comparison)
