Soon to have Stage 1

I am scheduled to have the new stage 1 GMTU installed on Wednesday morning. I looked through the instructions and the TMAP sensors look smaller in the new plug and play kit that I got from Crate Engine Depot then they did in the pictures. Any one else notice that?

I was also wondering what is the best downpipe and exhaust I can buy? I want to keep it catted. I would like to see what others have done and would like see and possibly hear what has been done before with the best results in sound and performance.

I already have TTR's upper motor mount in my Auto SS and will be getting their rear sway bar soon too.

Are you refering to the pictures in the instructions? I have my new "plug and play" kit right here and the sensors look the same as the pictures. The part # for the new sensors is GM 55206797.

Stage 1 done. Took 1.5 hours and cost $175. I am very satisfied. I have not really be able to get into it. The corvette tech who did mine, took off to do the road test and I heard the tires spin when he took off. Later he told me he was very impressed by that. He had done a cobalt before but not an HHR SS. I have gotten it up to 80 super fast. Best money I have spent on the car so far. The TTR upper motor mount really puts the power where it needs to go.
Now I just want to figure out a good downpipe and exhaust.
