I don't buy it as for one there is no warranty on deals done in back rooms of dealers. At least not from GM.

Two 400 HP is the limit on the stock rods in the 2.0. GM states very clear once you get to that number you need to upgrade. That is not even getting into the Turbo aspect of it. GM would never have a warranty on anything that close.

Three the transaxle and or clutch would never hold up under heavy use. We have already seen cases crack under the present power under abuse. The Engine with mods is well up to more power than the driveline is able to take.

Get the performance book GM put out on how to built a Ecotech. It will fill you in on what and how far you can with the parts in the engine. It will do some amazing things but the engine along the way needs a few changes.

Once you get to 400 HP there are things that need to be done or it can get ugly.

I think the dealers have the book and I got mine at Summit Racing.

you want 400whp? here's the recipe for it on the stock k04 turbo.....

full bolt-ons, 75hp shot of nitrous and a damn near perfect tune.

Keep dreaming. To get 400 you need full boltons and the 2871 on the car and a pretty agressive tune and possibly an E blend
or this.

400 hp must be in a hurry, I'm thinking a tad over 300 hp will get you there plenty quick and back home reliably.

To my knowledge there is no such thing as 94 octane anymore. Sunoco used to offer it here in Ohio but "discontinued" if over a year ago.

93 octane is as high as I have ever seen anywhere.

Bart, I'm laughing with you. 400 whp in a little 2.0, (I forgot the cubic inches on her?) give me a break. If he wants 400 whp, buy a Corvette. I've always wondered if the Stage 1 will shorten the life of the engine. I guess time will tell.
