Superchips Tuner and Brake Rotor Issues

Thanks for the reply, I asked a mechanic who mostly upgrades turbo vehicles with performance mods and he recommended for the money, as long as it does not mess with the shift points this combo, and I immediately did notice a considerable jump with the tuner and filter, how long have you had the tuner, any tranny issues?

Stupidest post I've seen in a while.

Can't figure if it is a rant, bravado, bragging, or any combination of the mentioned. Why mention all the superfluous information related to the brakes parts and not doing the work? Doesn't make sense at all.

I haven't had any issues but It does mess with the shift points. I can tell a big difference over the stock programming.

Thanks for the lack of info and insult, I will be doing my own work installing crossed drilled/slotted rotors and carbon fibre infused pads that I got a good deal on. But, If you had any reading comprehension, jut a tiny bit, you could see that it just passed inspection with the factory rotors and I had question about possible issues with the rotors, calipers, etc. for this car as their is definitely some vibration from a possible warped rotor or some other issue from the time that I Bought it. I will discover the issue after I pull the wheels and get into it. I need solutions, not problems. Thanks for the judgement, I have worked on F-16 aircraft, and have worked every form of vehicle from small engine to diesel, and many other aircraft in the USAF inventory at one time or another. I just had major back surgery, and I am not able to do a lot of anything right now, and I figured I would ask questions and post for fun, but I guess there always has to be kings in their own mind that really are

When I first saw the contentious post, I almost deleted it, thinking it was blackie - but I let it go. I wish I had deleted now, thinking we don't suffer fools gladly.

This thread is now closed. :)

Just as well. With all of his experience, I don't know why he would have ever needed any of us.

I have a stock LT 2.2L; I occasionally get road rage, too.

If you are still wondering about your vibrations etc. you should
A) check the link in my sig
B) check your Lower Control Arm bushings (that will be your problem, not brake rotors)
C) adjust your rear brakes
