Is that diagram the same for the Solstice, or no?

Not sure what you mean, but...

... the sensors (original) are the same for the different vehicles, as are the replacement stage kit ones.

The cause of all the confusion is that the wire colors for the HHR harness are different than those for the Solstice/Sky.

If you look at the last attachment, there are separate tables shown for the Sky/Solstice, and the HHR.

Notice that the pinout columns are the same, but the wire colors are different.

Hopefully that helps...

The tech at my dealer is an old buddy and let me watch. He had never attempted to remove the charge pipe on an HHR before, or ever really done any serious work on an SS for that matter, and neither one of us could figure out how to get it out easily, so we cut the anti rotation ridge off with a heated razor knife in place. After that, splicing the new connectors in was just a matter of paying attention to the new pin ID diagram. Those shrinking butt splices are very nice. The download required a brief phone call to TAC, and off we drove.

Dealer Install Issues P0236

Hi All, Here is another dealer install issue that was found. If you have a P0236 after your install the most likely cause is the dealer wired the TAMP sensor in the inlet duct exactly backwards. They used pin#4 as pin#1, pin#3 as pin#2, Pin#2 as Pin#3 and Pin#1 as pin#4.
