Tune with or without GMTU sensors?

I'd go HPTuners over Trifecta personally. Several people have had issues with the Trifecta.

Once I get some coin saved, I'm going HPTuners.

But yes, I agree HP tuning is superior.

If I understand this correctly the path to maximum performance is with an HP or Trifecta Tune in conjunction with the 3-Bar GM Sensors and Connectors with the HP being a slight performance edge.
I think this is going to work well for me because here in the Phoenix area the Tuning God would be Charles Hendrickson (of “Pinks” fame) the owner of Pro Dyno and he prefers HP.
Thanks again for all the great information on here as I would not have known about the advantages of the GM Sensors and Connectors

I want to ask one more time, only because Trifecta may be in my Christmas budget So sorry if this is an annoying repeat.
If i want to order the sensors for the tune, I need to order:
(2) of this part # (3 bar MAP sensor) http://www.crateenginedepot.com/3-Ba...10930C690.aspx
(2) of these seals, (one per sensor) http://www.crateenginedepot.com/O-RI...98-P17760.aspx
and (1) of these harness adapter kits? http://www.crateenginedepot.com/Coba...0H-P17740.aspx
So, if I buy and install these items with the tune, that's all I need?
I'm thinking Trifecta may be in my near future, can't wait! Thanks for the help!

You could also request an ECP tune so you would be able to run this VTA BOV that replaces stock BPV:

I would advise getting an extra set of O-rings. The cost is minimal. You'll have some spares just in case.
They usually don't go bad but if something happens you'll be prepared.
What could go wrong? Forgetting to trim the tab on the lower sensor which doesn't let the sensor seat correctly. Result: damaged O-ring.

This is the path I'm thinking of - get the fun of the tune right away and add the sensors later as funds and time allow.
