Isn't the Hahn stuff only $450? The ZZP stuff is close to that and you have to reuse your stock couplers. The Dejon stuff was around that as well. Or am I reading the web-sites incorrectly?

I paid like.... alot more than that. but, again thats all there was at the time. Dejon.. don't like the collar. HAHN was around $650 with upgrades. I popped the Hot-Side at about 120 after first installing them, but I have had no issues since, and I drag 1/8 mile almost every weekend, no issues. Whoever you buy, get good clamps!

If I install the hot side pipe will it throw a code? The cold side did when I threw in a K&N. I have the GMTU but no other tune. Am thinking about HPtuners but not much talk about auto trans tunes.

changing any of the intercooler piping will not throw a code unless there is a leak of some sort. an intake may throw a code as it skews fuel trims...and you should always get a custom tune when running an intake on these cars

k&n may have gotten oil on the maf which can throw a code but wouldn't have anything to do with the ic piping

The cold side is the one running from the intercooler to the throttle body... has nothing to do with your K&N

an upgraded hot side charge pipe will not throw a code.

Asanti is auto also and just got tuned by BYT, he uses HPTuners, according to BYT (i talk to him regularly) every is all good. my tuner is in Raliegh, NC if you're willing to travel a bit for a great tune.

also get a catless downpipe before you get tuned, that makes the biggest difference and with the tune you won't throw a code.

Thats really weird guys... I've been running a K&N filter since Feb. '08.. It was the first thig I bought, and have never thrown a code for it.. all my posts back the only time I ever threw a code was for some crappy gas in '08 sometime... she is approaching 60K and still good. Tick, tock

They are right its about helping out.

The top piping is the Hot stuff, which is easy to install and visible eye candy. the one with the T-map is the cold-side which is on the right under side of the car, and only visible to someone changing your oil, which most have left alone... simply because it requires some modding just to put it in, and most will argue it isn't needed. I disagree, but that just an opinion.(in all truth.. I would have left the Cold side off, initially... but somewhere while debating it, I broke the nipple off the Vac-line on the stock one, so I had no choice, but to install, and mod the cold-pipe. but no issues)
