very disapointed in performance
60 ft times are 2.4 consistently wheel spin is a very difficult problem , on my very first run I just nailed it and it just spun my time was 2.9, I belive there is a little that can be gained on the 60 ft times but it will take drag radials to do so, I have expermented taking off different ways and configurations , I usually run air pressure 12-15 lbs, my speed has been 97 mph, ambient temp has alot to do with it, on my best run it was in the 70s and after a cool down period I ran the 14.6 at exactly 100 mph, but my friends cobalt ,same year exact drive train and no stage kit runs a 1/2 second better than my hhr, why. I like going out at 6 am and do speed runs and such because its alot cooler and the air is still w/no wind and I get much faster runs. I would like to know how chevy got 6.0 60 mph times , it must have been downhill w/professional driver , my best is 6.6. I understand that turbo cars w/intercoolers are very ambient temp sensitive, but I feel there may be something wrong or maybe just over hyped (exagerated some). I feel my car is a full 8 tenths to a second off where it should be with a stage kit. but very soon I will add a exhaust system and intercooler and piping. I just wanna beat mustangs thats all or atleast be able to run respectable with them , thats all
Are you Auto or Manual. Also, I wouldn't worry about running the Cobalt. weight and dynamics plays a big part in that one. I'm not sure what the autos run stock in the 1/4 mile either.
The 60 ft play an important part of the ET and if it's a horrible 60 ft, then the times are going to be high as well.

There is definately something going on because I was a first time racer at my local track this past spring and I ran a 14.07 on one of my runs. I only have the stage kit as far as performance mods. Also when I went to the track I did not expect to race, so my car had a full tank of gas, 3 child seats, and the hatch was loaded down with stuff.
My 60' times were bad and my top end speed suffered from it, but you should without a doubt be in the 14's consistantly with an occasional high 13.

All of these factors could be playing a part.
