Many guys here with the aftermarket tunes are going for big numbers and willing to deal with smoked clutches and broken transmissions if it happens.

If you are willing to accept the responsibility for anything that can or may happen there is nothing wrong with them.

Just dojn't expect GM to pay for your choice. With power comes responsibility.

whatever you guys want to think, some dealers have looked at the ecu for a tune and have not found them. the retune counter also resets to 0, all you have to do is a write entire with hpt. I personally know someone who has had their trans replaced now(not a broken case) under warranty even though he had been tuned. you guys should really learn about how things are before you knock them. also, the tune can be very aggressive, or not. personally my car has been very aggressivly tuned for 25k now, running 20+psi to redline and an extra 6* of spark. I don't run my car anywhere near as lean as it comes from factory, and the stage kit is just as lean. I had more knock on the stock tune than I have ever had on my aggressive tune but I always run premium fuel aswell, even on the stock tune.

I went with HPTuners and I absolutely love it.
