but I did not buy it. I thought about it but no.

2 things made me hold off .One was your review of the install and how much extra work you did and the cold side piping. I am not sure if the cold side from the cobalt works with our hhr's. I have been told its different but imam not sure.

I just like the quality and the price point. With all the install Isues I think I have to agree with your recommendation. its great for a cobalt but not for the hhr.
I am going to contact Jason at Treadstone to see if we can get a HHR version. If that dosent work out I am thinking Crazysteve or Zzp.

Does any one know if you have too lose the grille with the ZZP?
I left mine out for show, it can left on the car. I just installed my ZZP intecooler with CIA hot$cold side tubing. Only problem I had with the intercooler install was the mounting holes on the bracket to the bumper were slightly out of alignment. So I had to drill those holes bigger. It's a big intercooler and its a tight fit. But its a quality piece

I just bought a TR8 Beta

I just purchased a TR8 Beta on eBay.
Got a very good deal.
It's brand new and never used.
Stay tuned for a Springtime update
That is if Spring EVER arrives here in the N.E.

Tr8 finished pictures

Here's my install of the Tredstone Tr8.

Took me the better part of the day.
Tomorrow I'll continue putting it back together.
Any questions on this install I'd be happy to answer.
There were some minor problems but all in all.
It was a fairly easy installation.
