I found a good looking air intake set up from treadstone for the LNF but is for the cobalt ss and i was wondering if anyone has or know someone who has this set up and if it would fit the hhr ss?

I did read this in the description:
"Due to the increased diameter and improved non factory routing, this kit requires the use of an ECU re flash via Trifecta or HP tuners"

Also. If this is a true cold air intact, why does the design look like the filter will be out in the hot engine compartment?

 

Looks to me like the mounting bracket is in the wrong place. At least the ZZP hot air intake made one that has the bracket in the right place.
