CGS and IMCO T-909 question

I have the CGS intake on my HHR and I am considering replacing the stock muffler with the IMCO T-909. I would like to know if you can hear the IMCO T-909 muffler over the sound of the CGS intake inside the car. Can those with the CGS and IMCO T-909 or IMCO T-924 share their experiences?

I would like to hear the exhaust note inside of the car when I accelerate hard enough to hear the CGS intake.

Believe me, you won't have any problem hearing the IMCO. I think there are probably better mufflers out there. The IMCO is OK but nothing special. As far as the mystical powers of this muffler, as reported by others, just remember that a muffler/intake combo will help only to a small degree. Some of the post you read will lead you to think that the addition of these two parts is next best thing to a turbo. It just ain't so.

Before you take the plunge on the CGS and the IMCO I would recommend you read this thread first. It has a lot of good posts and if you read through it you will see the facts about both items and the difference between power and noise.
