So...question; how much louder is it inside the car than stock?
I don't want to lose my nice quiet inside ride...

Magnaflows have more of a thrushing noise like glass packs. They are loud at idle and during acceleration but quiet during cruise. I had a dual Magnaflow setup on my Mustang.

True, but on the freeway going 80mph at 3000rpm with all the windows up you can really hear the exhuast this is cruising speed for me. The guy that installed the muffler said he could remove the resonator to make it sound louder but its perfect the way it is. One thing that i told the guy was i didnt want it to sound like a japanese car, Dont get me wrong those cars sound really nice but it wouldnt look/sound good on a HHR i wanted more of a muscle car sound on mine.

Yes, if you can record the idle and rev sounds I'll post them on my website. (Not sure if you have that capability). You can send the file to me through www.yousendit.com just send it to mike@socalhhrs.com

And if you can't...no problem!

Magnaflow claims a 7 hp increase on a HHR with their muffler. I have no reason to doubt them, they make one of the best exhaust systems on the market.

Did you get the Magnaflow exhaust tips (well I guess it would just be a tip) also? I could never keep mine clean no matter what I used, they were like road tar magnets.
