They should still fit. I would get on ecotecforum and start asking questions there are people mone knowledgeable on this kind of stuff over there. I think there is a cam position sensor now or it was removed something like that

what kind of mods? I want performance but I want a better sound the most thats why Im looking for cams and Im gonna buy a new header

 

should be '07, that was the year that the 2.2 went from lost spark ignition to coil over plug.
