HHR Turbocharger

I'm new to the site and it looks like this is the place to go for tech info. I have a 2008 LS with a 2.2 L. I just saw a turbo kit on ebay item 271103629776, has anyone ever installed one of these? I've asked several questions like are there instructions, does the hood or engine compartment require modification, is the kit complete, is overheating a problem, etc and have gotten back sketchy answers at best. I'd like to turbo the little guy, but just not sure what's involved. Anybody got any suggestions? Thx.

I did further reading and it looks like this may be the really cheap setup and probably not worth the risk and investment...it's only $299 so still would like to know if anyone has tried it?

Generic kit, incomplete, substandard components, lots of modification.
If you really want to do a turbo, there are better choices, but not cheap. The consensus is, unless you enjoy the work just for the fun of it, its cheaper and easier to buy an HHR SS.

Forget the turbo idea. Get a supercharger.

Forget both, just go buy an SS while you still can. No mods needed, turn key and fly.......

Turbocharger

Thanks guys. Sounds like a pretty arduous task and it's my daily driver so can't tinker. SS sounds like the right solution, just can't turn loose the bucks for one right now. Too bad they've discontinued our little gem.
