Got mine installed today. Mad Hatter's in Mesa $40 and kept the factory tip. Nice sound, not the loud rice grinder sound either.

Add me to the list. Got mine installed today. $45 and 25 minutes. Easy. Sounds great, light rumble, not ricer. Thanks for the info on this muffler Mike!

Has a nice deep sound doesn't it. You can feel your HHR breathe better too. Welcome to the IMCO T924 family.

Now I want one! Out of those of you that installed the imco, did anyone reuse the OEM chrome tip? My idea is to keep it looking stock,ie, mild sleeper

Grumpee...you won't believe the difference in sound and power. I was totally amazed by the difference. My boyfriend thought I was nuts replacing a perfectly good muffler...but once he heard how great it sounded and then drove it...he agreed I did the right thing.

A lot of people have used their stock tip, but mine didn't come with one, so until I replaced the muffler I used one of those chrome screw on tips. Then when I had the muffler installed, I had them put on a real nice double walled one at the shop for an extra $50.

I've read all 11 pages of this thread and seen posts like "you can hear the exhaust flow better" or "you can feel the difference".

Just wondering if anyone has any dyno sheets to prove the improvement? I know people can easily misconstrue “hearing” a louder or nicer sounding exhaust with “feeling” more power.

Only reason I ask is because I’ve been down that road before buying exhausts because people keep “feeling” the added power, but in the end, the stock exhaust was proven to outperform.
