Port match & blend the 2.2 head to the 2.4 intake.

Perhaps painting/powdercoating some of it, if you care for that. I probably would, but I show mine a few times a year.

To swap cams (2 of em), OP would need to get a 'tune' & maybe bigger fuel injectors..

From all the reading I could find on the 2.4 intake it is the 05-07 Cobalt SS version of the intake manifold. It is the only version to be a one piece cast. The others are two piece castings and look to neck down similar to our 2.2l intakes. So when looking for this be sure to look for the one piece. I can only find the one piece at Crate whatever dot com and for over $500. For that price vs the gains I would save for a supercharger or turbo but that is just me. If you do decide to do cams and any head work then that intake would be very worthwhile. Also keep in mind that for the most gains from the mani swap you also need a tune and they are near or above $300 for our cars so you would then be very close to a grand. You could piece a supercharger kit for that price or slightly more but you would still need the tune. But gains would be much higher and thru the entire powerband.

As long as you got it out, might as well just go for it.
