Yeah and with gas prices about 60 dollars fills the tank and gets us about 370 miles to a tank. I think we will get better mpg in the summer. We tend to start driving before the edge is warmed up.

Not resetting the mpg it went up to 19.8mpg after a little road trip with about 80% highway driving lol.

The sport looked good, when I was shopping, 50k too much change for me. My SS was way less than 1/2 of that, don't have any problem with on ramps, usually have to slow down to merge.

Hope you enjoy the new ride.

Good luck with the new ride one of our daily drivers gets low 20,s on the average mpg
Can't imagine going below that with today's and upcoming gas prices.
Gotta love the mpg on the hhr

I reset the mpg for a road trip yesterday. With doing the speed limit on cruise (65mph) We got 27.3mpg. 21mpg in city with granny driving. Seems that my driving habits is what is killing my mpg.

Wow thats unbelievable mileage
The EPA Fuel Economy on a 2009 Edge FWD (not AWD) for example
is
Miles per Gallon Regular Gasoline 19 Combined
17 City (you showed 21?)
24 Highway (you showed 27.3?)

Did you check the true mileage or just the computer?

I love how this thread went from "need acceleration" to "granny driving".

I went off the computer's mpg. Oh, trust me. I don't granny drive. I just wanted to see what mpg I'd get. If the mpg where still horrible compared to what the car is suppose to get I'd know there was something wrong.

Yeah, 27.3. Only thing I done to it is Goodyear tires that claim increase mpg and K&N air filter. the highway driving here is pretty flat.
