Im not trying to race the HHR im just trying to get there in a hurry for no particular reason other that I like to go fast... I live outside the city so its not like im flying low threw a metro area. worst case I hit a bird or a cow then I'd have problems!

you can shift in I gear at any speed autos only, say your going 100, and flooring it,, you are already in 3rd gear, putting it in I you are still in 3rd gear, you dont go down shifting at all ,the speed gov doesnt stop the party, however the wind resistanse does, spark advance falls as does torque at 6000 rpm, could ony go 112 without mods, NOW my 2.2 with CAI, no muffler, jack ,spare ,pulstar plugs, pulls to 115 at 6200 then shifts to 4th and doesnt pull any more ,unless down hill, this summer im going to lower it 1 in frt and rear to improve drag res.CO. and get a tune tyme program. for some more spark advance. and a 6500 trans shift point, ill post results in a few mos
