Tach/Speedo jump???

Anyone ever notice their tach and speedo jump right after turning off the car? I've got a 2LT MTX... usually park in the following fashion- stop ( ), set parking brake, put vehicle in 1st, turn key off.
I haven't noticed if this happens 100% of the time, but it catches my eye more often than not. Seeing that there may be more MTX's in the 2.2 forum, I've decided to post here as well as the 2.4 forum.
Just curious if this is the "norm"?

I had that happen to me too. I took it to the dealer just in case, and they said they had multiple people come in for the same issue, but it was nothing to be concerned about, and that it was not effecting anything.

Lots of newer cars with computer controlled tachs and speedos do this. It's very common.
