I talked to Vince from trifecta tuning today abnout tuning the HHR. He said he is looking for someone with a 2.2 hhr in the Seattle area. If you are interested in a tune in the seattle area I would get in contact with him and see what he says. He reported a 10 hp gain on a cobalt so i am sure he could do something for us.

 

We have the ability to reflash the ECM (and TCM) used in the 06+ 2.2L HHR, but we need to actually tune one on the dyno before we can start offering the custom programming. Chances are what we learned on the 2.2L Cobalt would be equally applicable on the HHR, but we don't like to make assumptions like that.

So, we'd need one 2006 HHR with 2.2L, and one 2007-2008 HHR with 2.2L. We're in the Seattle area, but know several dyno shops in the Puget Sound area. If you're interested, give us a call (206-595-3061). Basically we'd just ask you to pick up the cost for the dyno time and you get the keep the custom tune as compensation for your help. Dyno time would probably cost in the neighborhood of $100-$200 depending on where we go.

So close yet so far... i have a 2006 HHR 2.2 5 speed, but i am about 2oo miles away in Eugene, Oregon. Will keep an eye out for the tune though
