You show the marks for the cams.
Where is the picture of the chain on the crank sprock
You show the damper is installed to the key on the crankshaft.
Why the pictures of the cams ?
I wanted to show the cams were in the right positions 10/2 if you look at the crank it is at 12 I didn't pull the chain cover because if the crank is @ 12:00 the Dot on sprocket has to be at 5:00 right the sprocket is keyed with the crank ? no other way it could be ? I have pulled the cover 4 times and it was always at 5:00 I was trying to save some time and work. but if you really want to see I can pull the cover as well.

Sir, by your pictures you do have marks lined up for both cams on the chain.
The diagram does show triangle on the left and square on the right.
Does your cam sprockets have other marks on them ?

Looks like the intake camshaft is mispositioned. Like the others are saying, you should be using the diamond mark on the intake VVT camshaft phaser(sprocket). Is there a diamond mark on it?

There are no other marks on the sprockets there are a Triangle on each sprocket nothing else. these sprockets came off the original factory head. the marks you see from the pictures are the only marks

Ok, it seems that the VVT engines use the same actuator(same part number) for both intake and exhaust.

I would go back to another compression test, with a different tester. If you still have low compression, do a leak down test.
