CGS noise level
CGS noise level
Had my cgs on for 2 days and took it off.IMO it just to loud.IM an older V8 kinda guyand did not like the sound of the CGS.This is the first 4 cyl car Ive ever had and not use to the sound. would a different filter bring the niose level down some? Anyway Im back to stock.I hate the look of the turtle on my engine.I might buy a K N filter and put it in the turtle. Love this trucket

It is much louder. I have one on mine. Too loud for the wife so I installed a K&N filter in hers. Not as big a performance differance as the intake, but still a noticable change. also a little louder, but nothing compared to the intake.
I took off the IMCO muffler after three days. Too loud for conversations with my daughter in the back. Still have the CGS intake and the Outlaw filter. It is noisey and I may go back to stock there as well. I have nerve damage in my ear and excess noise drives me nuts! I intend to strip the interior out and add a lot of audio sound proofing as well as doing a sound deadening undercoating.
My other car is a Buick! I'm gettin' old!
