looking for opinions of price total on doing a full project on a 2.4

turbo system, exhaust, differential, brakes, suspension...

at what point do you worry about driveshafts and transmission?

i realize that the sky's the limit if i want, just a general cost would be helpful.

I'll eventually get around to doing all of that too! Right now I' trying to get the turbo done.

I figure $4000-turbo, $200+ exhaust, brakes-$1500+, suspension-????

It really depends on how far you are planning to go.

I hope to get to 400+whp. That will mean new internals in the engine, rebuilt tranny, rear disc conversion+front disc upgrade, lost more tuning and turbo upgrades, oh yeah, I'ge got a nitrous set-up too(75 shot for now).

Eventually, I'd also like to upgrade the suspension too. For now, I've lowered with eibachs and have a Progress Tech rear sway bar.

Like you say, the sky's the limit, the only limit is cash! Since I plan on having my HHR for many years, time is on my side.

From what I understand the tranny should be good as is up to 350whp if tuned right. BTW, mine is an auto and gonna stay that way.
