Buy showing interest in them making a product for our vehicles we are not supporting someone who isn't a supporting vendor. We are simply showing interest in hopes that they will make a product for us based on the quality and reputation of their past achievements. A Diablo tuned Cobra is no joke. If I remember correctly their tune adds like 100 HP with no other mods just the stock engine. Who knows, maybe after showing them some interest and they chose to develop a product they might become a supporting vendor on the site. It's not like anyone is coughing up money and waiting in line.

If anyone wonders why I'm not on the list yet it's because I was so involved in watching The New York Ripper that I didn't get around to it. Tonight I'll add myself.

I agree that showing interest isn't the same as supporting a non-vendor.

I understand BIG difference in motors but, realistically, how much extra HP do you think can be coaxed out of the 2.4 with a tune alone.

Some. I would guess maybe 20 HP give or take with no other mods.

That's about what everybody is saying.

I guess I'll just keep being happy with my Tune Time tune. I'm starting to get used to having steering torque!

My TuneTime tune is supposed to be good for 16 wheel hp and 14 wheel torque. Plus, better gas milage.

The owner, Matt, has a 2.4 auto HHR with no other mods and that is what he dynoed. And he uses the Weston software, which is supposed to be the best for the Ecotech.

Soya got it! Good!
I've been watching Saw III, Texas Chainsaw The Beginning, and of course Clockwork yet again!

Now for us all to tune our little grocery getters and have some fun on the roads. Sorry to keep- calling our econoboxes grocery getters, but ,..ok they are not really econoboxes either. Econoboxes weigh nothing and get real decent gas mileage. The HHR is just a fun compromise piece that we all agree is worth a lot of mods. The platform screams for it.

Ya know, I AM getting excited by the idea of the turbo version. Heck I already put premium in it. Though I'm sure our cars will be worth next to nothing in trade by then. Part of me thinks I could keep the HHR for a dozen years like I did the SHO. I wonder if it will hold up? With all the rental units being dumped now and in the upcoming years, the resale value of the HHR is not going to be stellar.

So anyway, I'm up for the tune in the spring. I'll likely stick with the cold air intake and the outlaw too.
