Good reminder, Oneton...

I immediately lowered the aiming of my headlight beams the night I leveled my HHR. Definitely a must unless you want everying flashing their high beams at you.

Don,

Looks Good

Almost makes me want to do it...but alas I had to burn a bridge with a former good friend who has the tools to do this. Either way the next mod will be this or an exhaust....toss coin for the 1000th time

Looking forward to seeing how it looks closeup next week at the show

Ok, now how does it sit with passengers in the back seat? My HHR looks lowered when my three teenagers are in the backseat. Are they stiffer springs?

Since I rarely have rear passengers, I opted not to trim the bumpstops which can be done at any time. So far the ride has been really good. I have some rear hatch opening striker issues that I have to have the dealer look at. I have a clunk back there that Im almost certain is the hatch. Sorry tireman, I cant really answer your question. It really looks good level. They are progressively wound so?

Darrell and Angie, If you guys ever want to come over and have anything done, please feel free to do so. The springs are very easy and the install is amazingly quick. Maybe before one of our G2G's we can get yours done.

I used my electric impact gun to remove the lower shock bolts. Not sure how they would be to get off with hand tools. Also re-installed with impact. Wish I had torque spec for bolts, but I don't think they will come loose.
Also be careful not to damage parking brake cables when locating jack stands.

Good luck and let us know how it goes?
Here's before and after...............

Thanks, Don! Bada-bing looks fantastic! I'm toying with the lowering--my sister doesn't want me to as she has had issues with gas saving on her 07 Tahoe since she did it, but someone said a heavy truck like that will lose that on lowering.

The new skool emblems look good too! Looks like you put them where I put mine. And now I see how great Bullett worked on Smoke, Saturday will be Blackie's day for beauty before our g2g!

Wish I could do all that with myself!
(although at 5'1", I think I'm lowered enough!)

The leveling springs are stiffer so they will not sag as much as the stock springs did when there is weight in the back.
