I am not jumping on you. Just don't want my hopes crushed. You and me are in the same boat, this is my only option to get ss type performance. Can't bring my self to trade my HHR for SS.

I think this is one thing that Hahn is probably going to install on a car-by-car basis since the HHR market probably isn't big enough to justify manufacturing a DIY kit yet. You give these performance guys enough money and they'll sling a diamond out of a turd.

Just look at what Carroll Shelby did with the Dodge Omni.

Personally, for the kind of scratch that Bill Hahn is probably going to charge for this service, I'd rather find a rear-ended Impala SS, Monte Carlo SS, or Grand Prix GXP and steal the LS4, 4T65E, and magnesium engine cradle out of the car and throw it in the HHR.

Hahn Update

I talked with Bill Hahn today to see if they were going to do a kit for thr HHR and he said they have been very busy with upgrades for the Solstice and Sky, and everything else that they are working on and if they receive enough interest in a kit for the HHR that they would start on it in December. If you guys remember I had my 07 HHR at his shop so he could look it over and see what all would work from there Cobalt kit and it will take a lot of different parts to put a kit together, but if there is enough interest they will build it. I drove there Cobalt with there turbo on it and it was a whole lot of fun. If you stand on it from a dead stop it will smoke the tires big time. There car has the 2.4 with automatic and stock tires. Once I learned how to drive it it, without smoking the tires, it was very impressive how much power this thing makes. It sets you back in the seat hard and holds you there. I for one would love to have a new SS but if they build this kit I know it would be a lot cheaper than tradeing for the SS. If any one is interested please drop them an email or call and talk to them and let them know we want to make our HHR's faster than the new SS's will be.

Here is there info.
