They haven't started on it yet. That's one reason why it can be in the show; it hasn't been taken apart yet.

They are working on it. The Chicago Auto Show put things on hold for a couple weeks though. This is a long term project because they are doing more than one stage.

I'm now looking at a rear brake conversion and a LSD upgrade on the tranny to handle all of the extra HP.

i understand that. i was just doing reading for my future mods and found that the stock tranny is good up to 205 lb-ft of torqueim sure it can take more than that.

Hay Mike are you going to look for a used trans with the posi in or rework yours ? are you going to do a after market brake kit or a ss axle ? have been thinkin of starting some of this stuff now so when the kit is the rest is ready .

I don't think you can fit a 4T65 in the HHR. If you could, it'd probably require some pretty daft work on the power cradle, axles, and wheel bearings. I'd be willing to bet that Hahn is going to take it easy on the first gear tuning and tune it for full power in higher gear. I suggested to Mike that he look into a custom LSD just to get the power to the ground, but that really isn't going to do much to safeguard the rest of the box.

Gonna do a re-work on mine. Trying to find a kit but the only thing close I'm seeing doesn't have an emergency brake which means it wouldn't pass MO state safety inspection. May have to do an axle switch.
