I have that header, and the coolant line on the 2.4 is in the way, haven't looked at how to turn the line to make it work, but a member here, hvrod, has this one installed and working fine!

That looks like the same header from Cobalt Addiction.

Like many "claimed" gains, don't expect much.

As for the coolant pipe that crosses on the back side of the block, if that is a problem, there is an O-ring connection at each end. A strong grip and it can be rotated some.

Actually in dyno tests with another manufacturer, the factory manifold is not that bad at all, a much better design that manifolds of old!

GM has what is called an "extrude honed" manifold available, where they pump an abrasive putty-like substance through it to smooth and enlarge the passages.

The 2.4 exhaust system is pretty well designed from the factory and difficult to improve upon. The much heralded IMCO muffler is actually more restrictive than the stock muffler, which will result in a slight, but hard to notice, power loss. It may offer a "better" sound to some, but sound does not = HP.

Without going into serious internal engine mods, your best "bang for the buck" would be a good ECM tune.

Hello. Just wanted to add. I have the Cobalt Addiction header and down pipe. I think they're great pieces and bolted right up. No prob. I noticed a good gain from them. But as a suggestion. If you start to mod the intake and exhaust, you will start to lean out on the top end. I would suggest a tune and SS/SC Injectors. When we tuned my car, we noticed that with an intake and muffler, it had slight knock n injector duty cycle was high.

Just some info.
