If the 2ltr guys are changing their injectors, what are they going to? If they are going to better injectors, wouldn't those also be better on a 2.4ltr?

Does anyone have a dyno change in HP for the injector/tune mod?

AS I have said on the cobalt forums I have been against the injector swap on the 2.4 LE5's from the beginning. You do not need to do the swap, some one with HP Tuners who knows what they are doing will be able to lower the IDC's from over 100% down to right around 79-80% the main reason for this is the fact that GM tuned are cars from the factory pig rich commanding as low as a 10 AFR and then with COT and piston protect it sends the commanded AFR's to below a 9. Leaning out the PE table, and disabling the COT and turning of piston protection is all that is needed. To lower the IDC's. There are a few other thing that will needed to be done after doing this, but this is how to lower them. JoeR a member on this forum knows more about this then I do, and I am sure he can prove this as well as I can.

GDZHHR:

I assume that you are running a wet nitrous kit, if this is the case you are already supplying the extra fuel needed and you do not need to compensate with adding more fuel via the injectors. Only time you would do that is if you are running a dry kit.

Also if any one wants I can post screen shoots of what needs to be done and a screen shot of my log at WOT showing the IDC for a full bolt on 2.4 with a proper tune.
