Check your manual. Just pull the fuse on your ECM (#41 on 2007).
Then plug it back in and start driving. I did the K&N, and the Magnaflow Exhuast, and I see about 3 MPG more with city driving.
The combination of the two have a great sound too. I have pictures in Gallery posted on my mods.

Hey I thought someone out there could help me with these problems,I can`t figure why the traction contol light comes on since I installed the Cold Air.Another observation ,when I installed the K&N there is a gap where the tube enters the box,I find this to be counter-productive because the intake will suck in hot air from the engine,so I sealed around the tube I hope this helps others with this system, and if you think it`s a mistake let me know .I would post a picture if someone could tell me how to add pictures to my post(I`m not a computer whiz as you can see)
HHRyup...
When you install the tube and filter, there is a gap all around the tube.
I can't address its value, but I have no complaints with mine.
I would think there is a good balance of cold as well as warm going into the box. Maybe they should have made a big rubber gasket to go around the tube during assembly to seal that off.
I don't have the Traction Control issue you described.
Maybe you unplugged something by accident during the install?
I also reset my ECM by pulling the fuse and re-inserting.
Let us know what you find out.

You don't need to reset the computer unless you have a light on. The PCM will "learn" the new airflow and make the adjustments with a few miles.
Resetting does that, resets to factory specs. Drive and have fun.

9.33 HP @ 5325 RPM according to K&N. I don't think anyone has every dyno'd one for personal use.

GM truck guys have seen 4.5 RWHP on a dyno with the K&N FIPK system installed over the OEM unit. K&N Claims 15 - at the motor I assume.
