Liqui Moly Ceratec, someone has tried this?
I found this on a local Autozone with a clearance price from 650 (50 USD) pesos to 400 (31 USD) pesos. The website claims "CERA TEC is a high-tech ceramic wear protection product for all motor oils. CERA TEC reduces friction and wear due to ceramic compounds that withstand extremely high chemical and thermal loads. Prevents direct metal-to-metal contact, thus increasing the engine service life. The low-friction effect reduces fuel consumption in gasoline and diesel engines. Sufficient for 5 liters of motor oil"

My engine has already 80,000 kms and I would like to add it as a preventive treatment... Would you add it?

Always use caution with additives. If it is discounted and on the shelf still-there is a reason. I would rather see you use a syn mix oil or full syn oil than add amazing superterriffic ceramic coating liquid.
Not knocking any product, but it is better to just keep up with your oil changes. I had a 1984 5speed Ford Turbo Coupe that ran great, no smoke (well a little upon startup due to valve stem seals), original turbo, canned it at 192,000 only because the rear pinion & diff clutches blew, not because of the engine.
1978 Bonneville-was still running & daily driver at 136,000, until it was stolen.
1988 Mercury Grand Marquis w/Police Interceptor- 198,000, motor & tranny was great-the electronics & vacuum controls started going.
1985 Olds Delta 88 Royal Brougham- Tons of miles-gave it up for cash for clunkers HHR. Dealer drove it and actually started tearing up-ran like a beast while sitting on your living room couch in the car, even had the original mint metal rimmed floor mats.
Never used any additives. Period.

If its maked down, they are trying to delete stock...and they are doing this probably because it wasnt selling in the first place..which also may means they will not restock it so you might not be able to purchase it again for the next oil change....

Well, these are actually in clearance because is very expensive for Mexican Market (usually the maximum price that some one here could pay for a "snake oil" is 60 pesos, about 5 dollars). Also, it claims that lasts 80,000 kms (50,000 mi) o_O

I kept stored the liqui moly ceratec can that I purchased for about 10 months. I changed the oil on January and added this stuff. I would like to wait to see if it works or not. After 2000 miles, I don´t know if is mental suggestion or if it really works, my HHR feels smoother and it seems that the engine is off during at idle (No Vibrations/noises)
