Not much help but I drove a 2013 dodge dart sport, prettty much a base model not the turbo, anyhew... I may have been trippin but I swear it had a factory stainless cat back with dual outs. It was the most amazing four cyl exhaust tone.I would love to have the same sounds on my honda as well as my hhr.

Btw I stuck it on the beach at daytona so I gotxa good touchy feely heary of the tail end as we were digging it out

Can't go wrong with Dynomax...they usually have a nice note but stay on the quiet side. My buddy had one on his 4.3 Vortex S-10 and it sounded good. Never heard one on a 4cyl. Mine is pretty loud...Magnaflow muffler with resonator delete.

I put the dynomax super turbo on yesterday and it sounds great, but sadly there is a little drone. Not that I can't hear people talk drone but some drone. It still sounds good but I didn't expect there to be any drone with the quietest muffler in the dynomax muffler lineup.

Is there any drone with those shorty flowmasters?

Told you not to do it twice like I did. I have a pair of shorty's no drone, not even pulling 13lbs of boost up a 12% grade in overdrive. I do that for fun up south hill, darn wagon has the torque of a V-8.

The Flowmaster HP2 Shorty looks to be $105 is that the price for them or can you find them cheaper?

And dynomax has a 90 day sound guarantee, I don't know how that works but I will check into it.

And as far as the I told you, I talked to my muffler guy and he convinced me what I did was the best option.

I have never had a problem with drone before using the dynomax super turbo on three other cars only quietness, which is why I was surprised to get drone on this vehicle. Too bad hopefully they will back there guarantee.

Would you be able to offer a sound clip for me to hear the flowmaster shortys?

He's running the shorty's on a turbo motor...the sound is going to be much different...not to mention he's running a split dual exhaust. If your goal is to get a little sound...just delete the resonator and run the factory muffler. Put an aftermarket intake on it and it'll sound really good.

What about fixing the drone on my current set up? Is there any muffler that will work or some kind of sound deadening? Should I call dynomax and ask them why there is drone? Anyone use a shorty flowmaster on a non turbo 2.4l hhr? I have always had good luck with dynomax, is it because I used the round style shape instead of the rectangular oval shape? What should I do?
